Once a property match is confirmed, your property will
be returned to the police department from which it was seized.
It then becomes their responsibility to return the item
to the rightful owner.
Note: Property Room is not responsible for decisions made
by police departments. |

| Why is a police report recommended?

| Without a police report, rightful ownership of the property
cannot be confirmed. Because of this property cannot be
returned without a valid police report. |

| What if I don't know the serial
number or don't have a police report? (top) |
| Although this information is not required, it is strongly
recommended when adding an item to our system. The chances
of property recovery are drastically reduced without this
information due to the matching process and property recovery
policy. Please read our Terms of Service

that hasn't been stolen? (top) |
| At present, the property recovery system only supports
items that have already been stolen. This feature however
will be implemented in the near future, so check back for
updates! |
